Loss Information and Funeral Education (LIFE) Services is the Community Education Division of Chippers.

LIFE Services offers education and information in the areas of loss, bereavement and death through our library and various educational programmes. These services are available to the community free of charge.

Our library holds a large variety of material including books, journals, video tapes and audio tapes covering all aspects of death, dying and related areas. Some are written by professionals in the field and others by people who have experienced a loss and wish to convey their thoughts and feelings. The collection also includes a range of fiction and non fiction books suitable for children. Our educational programmes have benefited many different groups in the community including bowling clubs, retirement village residents, nursing home staff and church groups. Seminars and workshops are available free of charge in areas such as funeral procedures, matters of legal impact and working with grief.
